2008 has been such an eventful year.

with so many ups and downs. very very
the drama i swear. it has been one of my worst
years i guess. so many things that i want.
i can't get. but i guess i've partially moved on
from that stage.

bad. alevels results. not getting into uni.
not getting into sispec. not getting into spec2.
not getting to be an internal/external. disagreements.
losing friends. hmm..

2008 revolves mainly around... army.

how i wasn't looking forward to bmt cos i was very
certain i won't have ANY friends and noone would
talk to me and i made a promise to myself that i
wouldn't open my mouth until the third day. or something.
but first day already.. and i opened my mouth.
and made friends. awesome ones some more.

many tekan session with alvin and ramesh. especially
ramesh. cos his hobby is tekan-ing me. or something.w
wahlao, ban me for smiling. i still remember..

me: *running 2.4km*
ramesh: *from across the field* QAZIM DONT
SHOW ME THE SHAGGED FACE!!!
me: ?!?!?!?! THAT'S MY NORMAL FACE.

me: *inside tonner..which drove pass company line*
ramesh: *outside tonner at company line* QAZIM
YOU SMILE AND I PLUCK OUT ALL YOUR TEETH!!
me: ?!?!?!?!

and yah. being the only malay in platoon 4 is very interesting.
like im not used to it. hahah. i love my bunkmates.
they make BMT very much exciting. random pre-book
in BK meals at whitesands. PARTY PARTY PARTY
in bunk which equals to tons of food bought on sunday
but gone by monday morning. HAHAHAH.

everyone knows i HATED soc. and i can't jump the low
ramp cos.. i dont know why. i think i'm scared i'll get
stuck inside or something. but everyone was geuninely
nice and motivating me. and i felt very touched. D:
my most memorable moment was when i became IC.
hahahah. wah, count strength can DIE!!! ippt somemore.
then i failed ippt.. =.="

i loved route marches cos we get to sing song!
blisters were.. manageable. but the fact that our
platoon bonded was fun. and i made friends with the
other 5 malays. zakir and zul were the best. hah. zul
was my bitching buddy and he would always visit me
to complain. heh.

i think all my bunkmates recognise him already.
oc evening was fun. even though platoon 4's performances
was DUH THE BEST, we didn't win cos platoon 1's
performance took forever. HAHAHAH. and i spent
like 40++minutes on the low ramp and sgt au had a talk
with me. and i ran back to the end point and SOC was
already over. HAHAHAHAH.

okay. i miss hawk coy 01/08. ):
then.. we got our postings. smsed everyone..
and everyone got.. sispec. ocs. sispec. ocs. sispec. ocs.
me.. i got. COMBAT MEDIC. and i'm like.. WTF?
so unexpected. didnt even expect myself to get in.
was so so so disappointed.

went to nee soon camp to report with my mega duffel
bag and got lost. thanks. HATED MY BUNK. my platoon
was okay. HATED MY BUNK. the people sucks. they always
bully me. and thankgod soon i made friends with faisal etc.
(section 2 people). at least i have somewhere to run to.
nothing much to talk about BMC...

didnt want to be a platoon medic so i expressed interest for
MRF. and i got in. somemore i heard got chance to be spec.
so.. yay. mrf. (partly because kenny brainwashed us to join
MRF. so we can all stay together). first day of training phase
CAN DIE I SWEAR. we did like pushups equivalent to like
10days of tekong. craziness. not exageratting. apparently
they said that was part of our mrf culture.

blacksheepdays. activation. rickie, xianglong, jit, zhi wei and
iskandar. hahahah. zhiwei's the most DECENT one! training
phase bonded 16th platoon. (:

had awesome bunkmates. movie nights where we put
our beds together and watched random shows like harold
and kumar. HAHAHAH. bunk4 was very exclusive okay!
we always lock our bunk and invite noone in!!! our platoon
also had bbqs, laupasats outings etc. and more coming up!

captain leow was the best pc ever. we were the first platoon
he took and im sure he treasured us a lot. hah. split up into
the 3 evergreen platoons. very very glad that i got to be
with ALL my friends (except jason and ian?) but they're
always with us anyway. so it doesnt matter what platoon
we're in.

i'm so glad i'm friends with my current group of friends
although they can occasionally piss me off (okay, once)
when ordering pizza. SO FICKLE MINDED. but i'm glad
that we're all able to accept each other for what we are
no matter whether we're FAT (HAHAHA FAT BOYYY),
skinny (ahem), smelly (okay maybe not). you get my idea.

HAHAHAH. days with them are awesome cos we're just
so comfortable with each other. yupyup. enough said.

okay. 2008 wasn't just about army. it's about meeting up
with old friends and catching up with my family. family
outings apleny, we even went to malaysia quite a few times.
(hello, usually we plan like 10 years to go on a one day trip).
our family got a car. blablabla..

nameless, naimas, yi mei and jialin, kwb. dont get to meet
up much with bination cos everyone's very busy with their
own stuffs. i hope we get to meet up more next year. ):
vadifido. omg. our outings very rare can. hahaha. always sms
me then suddenly no outing one. hmm..

okay. the year's slowly ending. a new year's gonna
start soon. let me make some resolutions.

2009 NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS.

1) be nicer to people.
2) don't lose my temper so easily.
3) try to order pizza effectively.
4) make more friends and less enemies.
5) be satisfied with whatever i have.
6) reflect on myself and try to stay grounded.
7) don't be biased. everyone's the same.
8) spend more time with family.
9) be more cooperative.

OKAY 9 resolutions cos it's 2009.
now, on to the superficial ones!

1) get into UNI!!! TRY AGAIN. OMG.
2) save more money. IM BROKE NOW.
3) plastic surgery (okay kidding).
4) lose weight.
5) less pimples.
6) run faster. get ippt gold. okay maybe not.
7) make friends with W and J. HAHAHAHAH.

okay 7 cos i cant think of anymore.

to reflect on my 2008. :D
